|

Hey there -
Tons of amazing new features in p4 - great work!
One catch, however, is that Wacom tablets no longer work correctly with Teleport on the shared system. When I move the cursor over to the shared system from my main computer, the pointer tracking works perfectly (which is an improvement over p3.7) but if I click, the mouse pointer jumps and the click isn't registered.
I know you may not have a wacom tablet, so if you need specific help troubleshooting this issue feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to help out in any way (running debug versions, etc.) to get this fixed. |

I don't own a Wacom tablet..
You can try to disable "Enable access for assistive" in the Universal Access pref pane and see if it works better. As a side effect, you won't be able to drag'n drop files though..
I'll work on the issue for the next version. |

I know this thread is ancient, but I wanted to confirm that turning off assistive access fixes the jumpy cursor issue... unfortunately tons of programs require this to be *on*.
Is there any update on progress for getting this fixed? |

| Hope this can be fixed because it would definitely be a huge help. I love using Teleport! |

|
|
I have an intel iMac 20" and a MBP 15".
The way I have them set up on my desk is placing the MBP directly in front of the iMac so the screens are one above the other (you have to lean the mbp screen back, but it works well.
Using teleport, I can control both at the same time with my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet (which is positioned directly in front the mbp. I can use the mbp keyboard to control both computers (I am writing this post on the imac screen using my mbp keyboard).
The only problem I have is with the monitor mapping on the wacom tablet. Since the imac 20" has a larger screen than the 15" mbp I am not able to access the entire imac screen when I teleport over to it. (i.e. The 'edge' of the screen maps to the smaller 15" mbp and does not cover the entire 20" imac) I am able to cover the entire mbp screen with the tablet if the host teleport is the imac, but then I am not able to use the mbp keyboard. Basically, I can get the wacom mapping right if the imac is the host OR get the keyboard to work on both if the mbp is the host. I have played with the proportion mapping for the tablet settings which helps, but I can still not get complete screen coverage on the imac.
Any help, ideas will be appreciated. |
