Multiple Profiles
« on: October 26, 2008, 06:44:15 PM »
It would be great to have multiple profiles, especially for those of use with laptops that have multiple configurations. For example, someone may want to be able to setup Teleport for use in home and office, for me, I'd love different profiles depending on which room in the house I was in.

A simple Profile selector by clicking the Teleport Menu Icon would be great.

I agree with the request for Multiple profiles - I use teleport to control my main computer (macbookpro) and a secondary iMac. When I move the laptop away from my desk, it would be nice if Teleport recognised that the machine is using battery power and should be disabled.

I'll see if I can do that for 1.1, no promise though.

I would like to see the ability to have multiple profiles AND have some programmatic way of changing profiles, through AppleScript or a terminal command, etc., so that I can have Marco Polo change profiles for me. Marco Polo can also trigger changes based on the current power source ("battery power" vs. "power adapter"), as discopopstar wants.

Jul, I promise you'll get $20 (USD) richer when this happens.
