What about this hotkey to work on local machine too? So it releases cursor which is control from another machine?

I use one mouse for desktop and notebook and sometimes I just move mouse over notebook and keep typing on notebook's keyboard, but I set it so mouse jumps only when I hold cmd, I have to release mouse on desktop.

Ofcourse would be cool to track keypress on local keyboard too, but just release mouse from slave would be good enough.

Hope you understand the idea.

Not sure what you mean. Do you want to the mouse and keyboard to be separated and useable on two different systems, like the mouse on one and the keyboard on the other?

With Leopard's (OS X 10.5.x) there is now "screen sharing" that will let you have the mouse and keyboard focus be to whichever window the cursor is currently within, but you don't get the special keyboard commands on the remote system that teleport lets you have (e.g. Command-Tab to switch between apps, etc).

I think the idea of having the mouse and keyboard focus be on two different systems would be very confusing and go against the user interface design of Mac OS X in a very fundamental way. Perhaps I am not understanding your intent correctly?

Sorry to confuse you, what I tried to say is – would be cool to release mouse via keyboard shortcut from a slave machine too.

Not saying that a specific windows client should be used..hell no!
But acceppting synergy/synergy+ connections should work no?

As far as I know the protocol teleport uses is synergy...so extending it to allow windows computers to be controlled should not be a big issue?

Even if it is a low version which doesnt support all features...I'm sure once its out in the open, people are willing to put donations and support in, to make this the best teleport ever!
