Trusted hosts
« on: June 02, 2005, 08:57:00 PM »
Q: What are the trusted hosts, and how do I add them?

A: Trusted hosts are the hosts that have been granted control on your Mac.
To add them, you have to share your Mac, then peer it on other one. It'll ask for authentication, and if you accept it, the host asking for control will be trusted, meaning that the host can control your Mac.
To avoid behind controlled by other Mac, just go to the trusted hosts edition sheet, and delete it.

There are no hosts in the trusted list, even after granting control.  Maybe I am missing something?

Also:

Maybe change this:
"To add them, you have to share your Mac, then peer it on other one."
To:
"To add them, you have to share your Mac, then control it on another one."

And maybe change:
"To avoid behind controlled by other Mac, just go to the trusted hosts edition sheet, and delete it."
To:
"To avoid being controlled by another Mac, just go to the trusted hosts pane, and delete it."

Everything is working fine for me, the list with trusted hosts however stays empty on both Macs...strange.

Thx for a great Software !
