Problem With Apple Menu
« on: December 02, 2011, 06:11:31 PM »
I am using teleport 1.1.1 on a MacBook Pro and Mac Pro, both running OS X 10.7.2.  On the machine that is configured to be on the right, I can't access the Apple menu if I move the mouse to the extreme upper left corner.  I have to move the mouse at least 1 pixel to the right to access the Apple Menu.  If I configure teleport to put the other machine on the right, that machine has the same issue.

In other words, if I arrange a teleport to put a machine to the left of the controlling machine the controlling machine cannot access the Apple menu with the mouse all the way to the left.

If I disable teleport or configure it to have the controlled machines on the right side of the screen the Apple menu works correctly.

TIA for any help.

This seems to be a general issue. Any portion of the screen that leads to control of another computer (ie that pulses red when re-arranging screens) has an invisible 1 pixel wide area which you cannot click through. This is pretty annoying for me, as i was to put a computer above my main screen, and if i try to access a menu by going all the way to the top of the screen as i'm used to doing (its faster than going for the middle of the menubar item), instead of getting the menu when i click, the frontmost window will lose focus. I wish this could be changed. If its for the red pulse effect, i'd rather just not have the red pulse effect. If its for mouse detection, ok - but could it be made so you click though the window if you click on it? ie so it doesn't accept clicks. A small, but frequent, annoyance for me.

P.S. Teleport is great! donated not to long ago.
