AbleMike Your "Open in 32-bit mode" trick ditd it for me!
You da ma!

Right Click Soundfly Reciever.app in your applications folder and hit get info.

Under the General section:

Tick the checkbox that says "Open in 32-bit mode"

I did this in Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and it worked.

EXCEPT -
It's Better to use industry known terms like:

Server -  The machine SENDING the sound -use SoundFly.app
CLIENT - The machine RECEIVING the sound - using Sound Fly Receiver (in 32-bit)
